Our Business
Interstate Cold Storage is a leader in refrigerated warehousing, shipping, and distribution with a network of cold storage facilities strategically located across the Midwest. Our family-owned company has been committed to providing cost-effective cold storage services with outstanding customer service and logistics for over 30 years. Among the members of International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses (IARW), Interstate Cold Storage ranks in the largest 25 public cold storage warehousing companies in North America, with five locations and nearly 22 million cubic feet of cold storage warehouse space.

Our Founder
Interstate Cold Storage was originally founded by Vincent Tippmann, in 1973. Mr. Tippmann’s experience included over 40 years of practice in the refrigeration and heat transfer business. He is also credited with numerous industry related patents, many of which are used today by major corporations around the world.
We remain committed to our family values and look forward to the day our 5th generation can call Interstate Cold Storage their home too.
