Customized reports

Users can generate customized reports though our cold storage management system web portal to help make planning decisions, manage inventory levels and increase efficiency. Each report can be created with virtually unlimited criteria, scheduled by the user, and exported in a variety of formats, including .xls, .csv or .pdf. You can also share this information with other account users.

Every Interstate Cold Storage location offers RF scanning to assure accurate, up-to-date information.

Security & Monitoring

At Interstate Cold Storage , we always remember that prioritizing food safety not only protects our customers’ bottom line, but also protects the health of consumers. Our facilities are monitored with an IP-based surveillance system that authorized staff can access from anywhere in the world. Our secure cold storage locations are also monitored by a third-party agency for burglary, ammonia, fire, and temperature stability.

Our cold storage tech includes an internal monitoring system that serves as a back-up through our centralized network. This redundancy adds another layer of protection for items monitored by our third-party agent. In the unlikely event an issue arises, we have a detailed corrective action protocol in place.

Each facility has its own independent Warehouse Security Plan, which is rehearsed several times each year during unannounced drills.

In addition to these strategies, all Interstate Cold Storage facilities are government inspected and reviewed by a third-party audit team to ensure that our facilities meet all regulatory requirements.

AS2 Protocol

AS2 Protocol refers to security protocols used for secure file transport that is encrypted and supported by EDI via the internet. When permissions are granted through Interstate Cold Storage firewalls, AS2 Protocol allows for direct connections to and from our system and the customer, eliminating the need for a Value Added Network (VAN) and its associated costs.

AS2 grants significantly faster turnaround for business transactions compared to traditional electronic data interchange logistics data, which is batch processed and then transmitted in groups throughout the day.
